Robust and adaptable design

Aluminium frame designed with state-of-the-art technology to offer a lightweight and highly resistant structure, ideal for the most demanding cyclists. Mullet compatibility allows for customisable configurations for a unique experience. ASTM Category 5 rated, it's ready for the most extreme terrain and use.

Unlimited range and power

The new 800Wh PowerTube battery is lightweight, efficient and optimised for exceptional range. With the additional 250Wh PowerMore battery, you reach up to 1,050Wh, exceeding all range expectations. Its removable system makes it easy to recharge and transport, guaranteeing comfort and performance on any journey.

Advanced Aluminium Construction

In the FLAME AL, we have adopted the most advanced technologies in aluminium frame construction, with the aim of optimising performance and the riding experience.

Squeeze Casting: Maximum precision in motor support

We use the Squeeze Casting process to manufacture the motor mount. This method ensures a stronger and lighter structure, which is key to withstand the demands of a high-performance engine like the Bosch Performance Line CX.

Extrusion for the Down Tube (DT): Lightness where it matters most

The Down Tube is manufactured using extrusion, which allows us to reduce weight in key areas, achieving an optimal balance between strength and lightness. This design improves weight distribution throughout the bike, providing superior handling and improving rider feel on all types of terrain.

Superior Weight Balance: Perfect Feel

Thanks to these manufacturing techniques, the FLAME AL frame offers optimised weight distribution. This not only improves stability, but also boosts the rider's confidence on fast descents and technical climbs.

Endurance Suspension

The suspension designed for the Flame Al combines stability, control and advanced technology to optimise performance in the most challenging terrain. Its ‘Horst Link’ or ‘4 bar’ system takes the articulated monopivot concept to the next level by incorporating an additional pivot point at the rear of the chainstays for a more progressive ride. This innovation effectively counteracts the forces generated during braking, while absorbing impacts from uneven terrain with precision.

The result is a suspension that responds quickly, maintaining balance and grip even on fast descents, rocky trails or technical turns. Ideal for steep descents and jumps, it ensures a smooth and controlled ride, improving both rider confidence and performance on every trail challenge.

Kinematics

In line with recent releases of Megamo full suspension bike models, we continue to focus on the horizontal shock design, transmitting forces more directly and in a single direction for a more responsive and agile ride feel, while reducing the weight of the bike compared to the vertical shock location.

The kinematic characteristics resulting from the combination of the horizontal shock design with the ‘Horst Link’ suspension system provide ideal behaviour for squeezing the maximum performance out of the bike in any situation, with its strength in control and dominance during descents.

Leverage Retio

The Leverage Ratio graph shows the desired results with the ‘Horst Link’ suspension system, a progressive behaviour of 14% marked by the steep slope of the graph between the values 2.75-2.4, which makes it more difficult to reach the top of the suspension travel and allows to use it more efficiently.

Anti-Squat

The Flame Al is a full power E-bike with 160mm of suspension travel, so pedalling efficiency was not our main design priority. However, for a value of 25% SAG we obtain a pedalling efficiency of over 90% when using the mid-range gears. Complementing this pedalling efficiency with the assistance of the Bosch CX38 Gen 5 motor, this gives us performance in the pedalling zones similar to or better than the competition.

Anti-Rise

The curve visible in the anti-rise graph shows the fruits of a design focused on making the suspension independent of the forces generated during braking. This maximises the control of the bike on descents and the contact of the rear wheel to the ground with anti-rise values of around 88% by lowering the SAG by 25%.

Seamless integration

Less noise, more enjoyment. The compact design reduces weight and improves manoeuvrability, integrating perfectly into the FLAME AL frame. With a clean and elegant Bosch integration system, it offers a removable battery for convenience and easy maintenance.
Its strength allows up to 150kg of authorised load, offering the capacity needed for any adventure. Practical, functional and ready for any challenge.

Bosch Performance Line CX

Our Flame AL is equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, now upgraded to deliver 100 Nm, its maximum power at 750 W and assistance up to 400%.

Thanks to these improvements, it ensures immediate acceleration, optimizes energy delivery based on the rider’s cadence, and significantly improves range. Its compact and lightweight design enhances stability, while the eMTB mode automatically adjusts assistance for a more natural and efficient ride on any terrain.
