The Reason features progressive kinematics with a 21% leverage ratio, ensuring a sensitive suspension at the start of the travel and progressively firmer towards the end. This behavior improves traction, comfort, and prevents bottoming out on jumps or large impacts. It also allows fine tuning through tokens or volume spacers in the shock, adapting to different riding styles. A smooth, controlled, and balanced curve, ideal for Trail, Enduro, and e-bikes.
Anti-Squat
The Reason features an optimized and balanced anti-squat curve, firm when pedaling and sensitive when the terrain demands it. With values from 108% to 104% at SAG, it eliminates pedal bob while maintaining stable and efficient suspension on climbs. Its progressive drop to 65% improves traction under heavy compressions, achieving a perfect balance between performance and sensitivity.
Anti Drive
The Reason features a progressive anti-dive curve around 55%, allowing control during intense braking without excessively stiffening the front suspension. This value sits within the optimal range (50–70%) for Trail and Enduro, ensuring stable handling, an active fork, and a natural feel in technical sections where the balance between absorption and control is key.
Kick-Back
The Reason features a progressive kick-back curve with a moderate value of up to −20°, perfectly balanced for a trail/enduro e-bike. This figure falls within the ideal range, minimizing interference during technical pedaling without compromising sensitivity on descents.
